Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember | Honey Bee Stamps Remarkable You!

Hello everyone!
I'm so excited to be taking part in the Simon Say Stamp STAMPtember celebration with the Honey Bee Stamps team!

I stamped the little girl and pup from the Seasonal Sweeties Stamp Set with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink onto Neenah Classic Crest Card Stock and 2 coordinating patterned papers. I fussy cut the girls coat, scarf, and both umbrellas with sharp detailed scissors.  I colored the rest of the images with my Copic Markers. The "hello Love" greeting from the Remarkable You stamp set is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink, covered in clear embossing powder, and heat set. I wanted to make the sentiment stand out, so I used the Honey Bee Stamps Solid Hexagon Dies to emboss the shapes into the paper. I added a handful of Pirate Black Half Pearls for the finishing touch!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the "miss you" also found in the Remarkable You Sentiment Set.

Below I have attached a video tutorial for todays project(s). If you'd rather watch over on YouTube please go HERE!

Hello Fall!

Happy Fall Friends!

I'm sharing a bright and easy fall card using 2 of the brand new Honey Bee Stamps sets. It was fun and relaxing to sit and color the mix of leaves, taking inspiration from the changing colors outside. I have attached the whole process in making this card below. I hope that you'll stick around and check it out. If you rather watch on the YouTube channel, please click HERE!

Thank you for watching! All of the supplies used in this video are listed below the post.

I started by stamping all of the leaves onto Bristol Card Stock with Versafine Black Onyx Ink. This ink is water friendly, so it's perfect to use with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and watercolors. I chose fall colors from my collection of markers and simply brushed a bit of pigment onto the leaves. I loved trying different mixes of the colors to get a beautiful autumn blend.

After adding the pigment, I dipped my paintbrush into water and very simply spread the color around. Using a heat tool, I made sure all of the images were nice and dry.

For the greeting, I used the shadow die found in the Gather Together Honey Cuts Die Set and cut it from the leaf painted background. I used coordinating card stock and cut the Hello letters, found in the same die set. I popped the whole Hello greeting up with foam tape. I stamped and heat embossed the word Fall (also in the Gather Together stamp set) onto black card stock. I simply added a bit of adhesive and slide it under the raised Hello. The River Agate Dew Drops were added with just a small dab of liquid adhesive.

Honey Bee Stamps Fall Release: Day 3

Hi there crafty friends!

I'm so excited to be part of the Honey Bee Stamps Fall Release! Today is Day 3 and I get the pleasure of creating with the Gather Together and Forest Friends Stamp Sets. I created the background with lots of Copic Markers in Autumn shades. This background was actually easy to make. This card was my first time trying this technique and I have shared the whole process in the video below. The sweet critters were also colored with Copic Markers. I am in love with this adorable gathering of forest animals!

Below I have attached a process video with the steps to making a fall tree with Copic Markers. I also have a YouTube channel if you'd rather watch there. Please click HERE to visit my YouTube channel.

All of the new Honey Bee Stamps products will be available for purchase Thursday at Midnight! All of the other supplies used in my video can be found in a supply list at the end of this post.

The inside of the card was stamped with the Forest Friends Stamps set. I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Gather Together set in Antique Gold Ink.

I added a little bit of shimmer to the leaves with the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors Watercolor Set. I love the subtle sparkle it adds to the beautiful fall leaves!

All of the Honey Bee Stamps crew will be taking part in a Fall Release Blog Hop on Friday! Please stop back by to see more from this fantastic release!

Rustic Fall Wreath: Country Wreath Stamp Set from Honey Bee Stamps!

  Hey there!
For today's rustic fall wreath, I pulled out an oldie but goodie stamp set. The Country Wreath stamp set includes pieces to make a wreath for any season. I'm so ready for the crisp fall weather and the warm colors of autumn!

I've added a process video below! I hope you'll stick around and check it out. If you'd rather watch on our YouTube channel, click HERE!

Thank you for watching! If you like any of the supplies I used, you can find them in the supply list below this post;)

To start out,  I heat embossed the wreath, hugs stamp, and berries in Antique Gold embossing powder. I first prepped the paper with anti static powder and then used Nuvo Clear Mark Ink to stamp the images. I'm loving the Nuvo brand of embossing ink! The pad is super juicy and produces a nice clean image. I stamped the maple leaf in Hero Arts Ombre Autumn ink. This ink pad has a beautiful variation of fall colors that's just gorgeous. The rest of the images were stamped in Distress Inks. The colors are: Barn Door, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Spiced Marmalade, and Fossilized Amber. There is a soft halo of Mustard seed around and over the finished wreath. After stamping...you can take a clean cloth and lightly wipe away ink that sits on top of the smooth embossing powder.

I added a few Nuvo drops to finish off the card. Autumn Red and Bottle Green are the larger dots. The super small dots are Copper Penny. To get the tiny splatter like drops, I just barely "kissed" the drop coming out of the container onto the paper. After drying, I added the finished panel onto coordinating card stock and this one's all done!
Thanks for stopping by today!!

United We Flourish: Honey Bee Stamps and Ellen Hutson Collaboration!

Hi there crafty friends!

I have to start this post by apologizing. I couldn't get my pictures just right due to lots and lots of smoke in our neck of the country. Part of our country is flooded, and the Pacific Northwest is covered in forest fires. Thoughts and many prayers going out to our friends in Texas, as well as anyone affected by all of the devastating fires.

Today's project started out as one card and kind of morphed into two! I had a ton of fun playing with the A2 Sunburst Coverplate Die and the new Sending Sunshine Stamps and Dies. The Sending Sunshine Stamps and Dies are a part of the amazing United We Flourish collaboration with Honey Bee Stamps and the fantastic Ellen Hutson!

I've included a video below that details the making of both of my cards. I hope you'll check it out. If you'd rather watch in YouTube, please click HERE!

Video:

Thanks for sticking around and checking it out! A detailed list of supplies for both cards can be found at the end of this post.

For this first card, I cut the Sunburst from yellow card stock and covered a white piece of card stock with a Stick-It Adhesive Sheet. I removed the backing sheet from the adhesive and stuck the sunburst onto the sticky sheet. I added Nuvo Gilding Flakes in Radiant Gold and Sunkissed Copper to the exposed adhesive. After burnishing in the flakes and brushing away the excess, you are left with the beautiful shine and texture.

The "Sunshine" die cut is from the Ray of Sunshine Die Set. This set includes both the shadow, shown here in navy and the scripty word that I've covered in sticky embossing ink and heat embossed with Nuvo Gold Enchantment Embossing Powder. The rest of the stamped greeting is from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set. I used the same embossing ink and gold powder to match the die cut sunshine. I dotted the "i" with a shimmery star found in the Pumpkin Spice Latte sequin mix. My sun shining  card panel was added to a navy top folding card base.

This card was started with the Sunburst Die as well. I cut the sunburst 3 times. Once in scrap with card stock, once with the large polka dots, and last with the small. Using the scrap white sunburst as a guide, I glued all of the patterned paper in place and then gently pulled away the white card stock guide leaving the beautiful sunshine and rays. The grouping of flowers are from the Zen Floral Stamp and Die set. I had fun coloring the images with Nuvo Glitter Markers and Brush Pens (listed below).

The fantastic greeting is from the Sending Sunshine Stamps and Dies. I stamped them in Versafine Black Onyx Ink, covered the wet ink in clear embossing powder and then heat set to a glossy black finish. The die cut sunshine was cut 3 times and adhered one on top of the other to add a little dimension and interest. I added a tiny bit of clear Wink of Stella glitter pen the the sunshine die cut for a little extra shimmer.

Thanks for joining me here today! I hope you'll check out the United We Flourish collaboration stamps and dies! I had so much fun pairing them with supplies I had in my craft room!
